Fox Floats for the 1M

So I want to upgrade to these shocks but not sure which ones are suitable.

I have read that the CtC for the 1M OEM shocks is 15.8 inches?

Does that mean I have to get Fox Floats that are 15.8 inches CtC or can slightly longer/shorter be used?

my look on all these air shocks are if you blow it out guess what no coil over spring to help you get out of woods just completely compressed ......
just my two cents, i would use like a fox zero pro or something like that revalve them set them up for you.

And then what, let some air out so they fit more like 15.8? Or does the 0.7 of an inch not really make that much difference anyway.

What about the rear shocks?

Does anyone know off hand the CTC of the rear shocks on the 1M?

Can similar Fox Replacements be purchased with the same/similar CTC distance?

Will M series rear Fox Floats suit/fit the 1M with the existing 1M suspension setup?

I can't remember the measurements but you can look that up on any arctic cat parts site.

I ran a set of Fox Zero Pros off an M series on my 04 and they were a huge improvement. They are the exact length needed!

edit: looking at my 2010, I don't think the Floats will bolt right u.

Rear shock 14.375 ctc/ctc 14.5" will also do the job! Basically 4.5" travel in the shock.

So do you think the shocks from an 08 M1000 will work? Fox Floats Zero Pro (centre one at least, rear one doesn't actually say Zero Pro on it from the pics)

Rear measures 16" CtC and centre measures about 11 1/4" CtC.

Rear might be a bit long?
