Fox Floats and Ryde Fx Air 2.0

Looking for any info on either of these shocks mounted on the front end of a '08 Summit XP. Good, bad, toughness, ride quatlity, maintance... if you have a comment on any of these issues i'd like to hear them.

:beer;

The ride fx were not available this past winter for the XP.I have the Fox floater and like them.Maintenance once a season seems to be easy to do.

Either one will last longer than your motor, haha. All kidding aside I have heard from a couple guys on XPs that have ridden both the floats and the RydeFx 2.0's and they both say the floats are better in thier opinion. I love the floats on my M. I dont think you could go wrong either way.

Did you have them on an XP? How did it affect the ride characteristics of the sled?

I have rode both the Dragon (Walker's) and M8's with the floats and like how they ride. Never rode a Doo with floats but would really like to try them.

The floats made a difference across washboard, way much smoother.When jumping, keep in mind I am talking around only 3 to 5 feet landing on hard pack, they did not bottom out and I liked the instant rebound.I run two in the front and one at center rear all set at 55 psi.170 pound rider.
