Fox Float Evol X

I was reading the post about no sway bar. I just put some float evol x's on the front suspension and took out that damn sway bar. What I want to know is anybody else running these in their sled and what do you have the main chamber and and evol chamber pumped up to and how much you like the shocks. I have not ran my sled with these shocks as of yet, I emailed Chris Burandt about what shocks he was using and he said he was using the Evol X's and the Evol R's, he said that they were awesome and worked good on the Polaris's.

I have a Holz rear running Evol X and float on the back and Evol R's for front shocks, I like the fox shocks and have had no problems with them at all, easy to adjust, and no blown seals as of yet. I am running my rear X with the main at 150 and the chamber at 230 or so, but i have also had them revalved and set for me and how I ride. The fronts I am running at 75 and 150. A much better shock than the WE's.

How much do they cost sorry for jumping but have been thinking of getting a set for mine but cost is a big factor?

Evol X

I have a set on my ASSAULT. I used the IQR set-up off of the FOX website. So far this has been perfect.

For the front with no sway bar I run 80-90 psi in the main chamber, 160-170 in the evol chamber, +10 clicks (from full soft, ie all the way to the left) HS compression, +14 LS Compression, +12 on the rebound

cost

The float evol x's cost $1500.00 and the float evol r's cost $1000.00.
They cost alot but their worth every penny. You'll never have to look for shocks again. I got them off of the Holzracingproducts website.

Gang start with your Fox Evol X or R at a spec'd rate but absolutely get the true value of these shocks AND EXPERIMENT! It's very simple and takes no time at all twisting a clicker dial. Then if you can't find a happy spot then you can advance on to more or less pressure in the various chambers. You will be pleasantly surprised at what a feel difference there is in a couple of clicks. These shocks are awesome and are absolutely worth the money.

here is the recommended starting point from Holz Racing Products

EvolX (ski shock)
50 psi main chamber
150 psi Evol Chamber
4 clicks in from zero on all adjusters.
(Mark says fill main chamber first, Chris from Carls says fill Evol first. Try it both ways if you want)
*Ride height 9”-9.5” measured at lower arm/chassis pivot
