Fox Float Air Pressure????????????

Got Timbersled BarkBuster front and Timbersled Rear on my Nytro.

Got the rear dialed ok @ 150lbs in the rear shock and 90lb in the front.

Question is about air pressure in the front shocks. I've tried them from 30lbs to 100lbs and nothing feels right. Just curious what others are running with this setup.

Thanks,

yep,

I went from 90 to 75 to 40 to 55. I think I like the middle numbers better, 55-75 seemed pretty good. Though nothing is spectacular. Over on TY there are some guys that have had the RTX floats revalved with much less lc, more hc, and faster rebound. Seems like that is what it needs most.

I know when going down a whooped out trail, at the lower pressures the shocks do not rebound fast enough before the next hit. I think this is similar to packing on the rear shock of motocross bikes.

Revalve sounds like the best answer to me. I think it is around 160-170 to get the rebuilt and revalved......

If exit actually made shocks for the nytro like they said they would.....in December...... I wouldn't have this issue....

Air pressure

I change the front shock air pressure on my bark busters everytime I ride. I have found that the softer 45-60psi is good on the more set up snow and a firmer 75-100psi is good for the powder. The rear skid I have set up the front at 75psi and the rear at 130. I weigh 135lbs so this may be a little light for most people.
