Fox float 2s or evos for $350 more?

I ordered a front end kit from skinz for me new nytro, and am just wondering if it is worth the extra $350 bones to go to the evos for the 2s? Any input would be appreciated.

Yes, for $350 it is worth it. The evols are much better then the floats or float 2's, you will thank yourself for upgrading.

No, I just ordered the skinz front end kit, I can get the float 2s or the evols, which are $350 more. I am just asking if it is worth the $1050 vs the $700 for float 2s.

I've NEVER spent that much on shocks, that's a lot of coin!

Any other input? Why shocks with a spring?

im getting a barkbuster frt end...im going with the evols...i like the clean look of no coils and i have good luck with the fox air in my rear skid..

I like the Zbroz shocks but with that said I would say the difference between the Float 2's and the Evos really depends on the kind of riding you do. Do you just mostly carve and climb or do you like to jump, air it out and do drops?

I'm a climbing and carving kind of rider. First big jump I did 10 years ago ended up with a compression fracture in my back, so don't do so much of that stuff.

So then which is better.

float 2's are a great shock for a guy who is in the mountains not beating on the sled to hard but wants a better shock then stock. The evols are for the guy who is hitting jumps and riding the sled hard.

Is it worth the extra money? well thats for you to decide but judging by the fact that you say you don't jump much i would save the money buy the float 2's and put the 350 towards new rear suspension because thats where you will feel the most gains.

I wouldn't waste the money on the Evols or Z-Broz either. Both are great shocks but if you don't jump a lot the money can be spent elsewhere.

I went with the evols's over the float 2's for my skinz front end.
I ride the snowies and the trail going up gets so moguled up and is a killer.For that reason its worth it for me.Everyone that I know that had both said if you have the coin it's woth the upgrade to the evols.Plus I remember in testing the skinz front end they said if you go to the evols you don't need the sway bar.
