Fox Float 2 advice

I am looking at getting the fox float 2 shocks. I am curious on what size to get. I have heard any where from 17.5" oc to 16.5" oc. Advice?? 2008 Nytro mtx sled.

Yeah, also wondering what length their using for the 2008 MTX Nytros...I've read in previous subjects/topics that they will be 16.5", which is what the '09s are using.

Anyone who has purchased the 2008 MTX Nytro Float2 have measurements, or more info?

I'm waiting on a pair, if nothing else, I'll post the C2C when I get them next week (crosses fingers).

I spoke with FOX & they said that the Float 2's for the FX Nytro MTX are a number 850-12-208. I wonder???

According to Fox's Fitment guide:

Nytro MTX and XTX share the same shock for 08-09.
For both the Float2s and Evol Rs.

But, no part numbers listed.

Nytro Floats

I should have mentioned when I order Timbersled suspension I ordered these shocks too.In the spring I ordered floats from Timbersled revalved by Cutler and they were 16.5 ctc.I have Fox Evol R on order and will report ctc when they arrive.
