Well the other night I got invited to go to Jorli`s to see a pre production version of his movie Fourcast. Decided I would take the invite because he was looking for some honest critique before he finalized it. Since I never met him before it would be easy to give a non biased review.
I think this film has just set the bar another notch in sledding films. At about 1.5 hrs in length not once was I hoping it would hurry up and end. He has segments covering all aspects of riding.(hillclimbing, freeriding, jumping/big drops and snowcross). The narration of the riders interlaced with their segments works great. You get a behind the scenes feel of what it takes to get out sledding for these guys.
But most of all the actual filming is insane. It`s beautiful(ya I just said that). Nothing out of focus, no zooming in and out, no shaking. No amateur looking crap here. Spending a few hrs over the years myself behind a camera I was just in awe of his cinematography skills. The man knows what he is doing behind a camera (unlike me

If you get a chance to check this movie out this year do it. I don`t think you will be disappointed.
