Jorli, I am glad there is a second film. Your first one was excellent. A question though - if I buy on itunes, can I burn a HD version to watch on my DVD player?

Lol...Might be able to get/buy some sort of software but Apples not just gonna let you start making as many cd's as you feel like for the $13 you paid.

Buy apple tv... or better yet buy the DVD also...support the sled community!

Honest review. Just finished watching Fourcast II. It was a great! I really like how they throw in commentary from riders and it's not just riding and music throughout the whole movie. That is also what I like about the first one. I also like how they actually let you hear the sound of the sleds working the mountain in a few scenes. I really don't like the other videos that just play nothing but music throughout the whole movie and you don't hear the sleds ripping at all. If I am to be honest, I liked the first Fourcast a little better. I watched the first Fourcast and Fourcast II back to back, and FOR ME, the first was a little better. That being said, Fourcast II is a great video, probably top 4 in my vast collection of sledding DVD's and Blu Rays.

The original Fourcast was a ridiculous amount of work and money, it didn't make back what it cost to produce, I'm still paying for it 4 years later. The movie was an hour and twenty two minutes in length and half the soundtrack had been originally composed specifically for the scenes in the film. As a result, it wasn't released for until October, had no hype because there was no interest from the snowmobile industry and didn't perform to a satisfactory level, to be honest, the situation with the second movie isn't that different. These things cost a tremendous amount of money to produce and if wasn't for Bryan Watts, Fourcast 2 would not have been made. We are doing the best we can, but the reality of what we'd like to do and what we can do are very different. I'm really happy the show, I didn't want to make the same movie as the first one and I definitely feel that the sequel is a little better polished and the boys put in a great performance. I appreciate the review. Thanks!!!-J

I don't think so, apple uses a codec that authorizes use to specific users devices to prevent piracy. DVDs must be compressed into a very different codec, even with the programs I have, I can't do it. In my opinion, the DVD is the way to go, I hate watching movies on computers.

I have no idea what it costs to make these movies. But, I can say that Fourcast should be in everybody's collection. It is great how they incorporate everything there is about riding. Great commentary, music, and sounds of the sleds. I have paid alot more for movies that did not live up to the "hype".

I'm a computer tard so bear with me.

Should I be able to go via itunes and then load it onto the ipod. Then if my dvd player has a usb port and recognizes my ipod I should be able to watch it on the tv right?

Or someone could explain how I make a network for my dvd and computer to share info.

It might work, buy it and it a go, if it doesn't, buy the dvd. Haha! Thats an interesting idea, let me know if it works.

Ipod/iphone movies are compressed to tiny frame sizes, if it automatically resizes it, it will likely be a giant blur, but even if it doesn't, another issue is that the connector may not be satisfactory to handle the data stream on larger files. I'd be interested to know. Thx-J

what kind of computer if mac book take a VGA adapter to HDMI cord and just run it to the tv, otherwise if it's a pc and laptop, theres a cord that you can run as if it were the monitor to the computer. couple options to use here.

I watched it last night and thought it was great. Really enjoyed the Keith Curtis segment.

I figured Keith's feature would be very popular....pretty redangdiculous that kid is!!!! I really enjoyed working with him, we had a great film shoot. I've never seen technical riding of that caliber before, he did a seriously high consequence line that I had done on a snowboard 15 years ago, I would never have imagined it could be done on a sled. He has very a bright future.

On a separate note, Fourcast 2 is currently the 5th best selling sports movie on iTunes Canada. Thanks for your support!!!
