Not tootin' my own horn here....just sharin' a cool story.
A couple years ago i found a digital camera on the trail. I took it home, down loaded the pics but couldn't find any info in the pics that would lead me to the owner.
I noticed a Heber area dealership logo on one of the sled pics. I called the dealer, explained what I was doing and then emailed their mechanic the pics.
A couple days later the mechanic called me back, he had recognized the sled from previous work done, gave me the owners info and I placed a call.
The camera owners wife drove to SLC a few days later and was ecstatic to get the camera back.
It was kind of fun to search for the owner and finally get a great outcome.
I believe in Karma..or whatever you want to call it. I like to think I got something good comin' to me in the future.
Referring to another post on here.. I also believe these douche bags ( I hate that word and reserve it for very few) that break into a guys truck and steal beacons, probes, boots, etc., are going to cross paths with the wrong truck and person someday and get EXACTLY what they have comin'! Please let it be me and 3 of my buddies!!!! D-bags!!

hey Plumb I'm sorry to hear Karma didnt work in you're favor but thanks for returning it to the owner ... I'm also the one that called you , funny I gotta keep an eye on my friends sh!t lolYou are on the right track. We found a backpack in the Noblets parking lot and posted it on this forum. I am happy to say that we were able to return the backpack to the owner on Tuesday night. I believe in Karma as well but unfortunately it didn't work for us that day! My snowmobile blew up and had to tow it off the mountain with my daughters 500! That will hurt your pride
