Just picked up an Atwood Excalibur 8500 series 34,000 BTU, 12 volt furnace for $395.00.

These were purchased at auction from an RV dealer that went under. They had 3 or 4 more when I left yesterday. They list for over $800.00. These are new, un-boxed units that come with three duct attaching rings and a manual.

Here is a link to their Web-Site.

Which location did you pick it up from or who did you talk to. I'm currently looking for one.

Thanks for the tip on a great deal. I had someone pick up 2 for my new trailer and another friends new trailer. Sounded like they still had quite a few left.

Nice. You must be building a monster if using two, huh?

I got a friend that bought a 7X29ft inline this spring that needs a furnace. I'm waiting on my 8x32ft 7 high gooseneck to show up that gets the other furnace. It is supposed to be shipped any day now getting pretty excited. When its done it will do double duty as our family camper and snowmobile trailer. To start with it will have AC, furnace, windows, sink, water heater, fridge-freezer. Its my friends turn to use his new trailer this winter which is good because it will take awhile to get it all figured out. Eventually I want to make a roll or slide in room that will have a toilet and shower.
