Sled came in at 450lbs dry . After i put race rails , c and a pro skis , race shocks and a beefy battery that was a pound heavier than stock it ended up being 465lbs dry. I'll hang it on the scale when it has a full tank of gas and coolant to see what the wet weight is . This sucker is strong and light with a sweet suspension. Cant wait to try it out.

it has an alpine front mount turbo on it. alpine has the sled right now they are dialing in the turbo and clutching . im going for the smaller turbo with instant throttle response.

Talked to Curtis @ forty1thirty (Very cool guy) the chassis is completey changed. Its pretty well a kit (need a nytro as a doner) the chassis is worth around the 17k mark. the one in the picks is worth around 47k (not to bad IMO) if i had seen this 2 months ago i would be riddin one this winter.

wow thats more than a diamond s ti chassis,but this thing looks allot stronger, dosnt look like it has many stock parts though.

Call me old school but if a sled looks like crap, you will feel like it runs like crap even if it runs good. If your sled looks good it will run good for you. I know it's all in your head but that is how I look at things. Yes that sled would probably kick azz on the hills but I withyou on this one it is just plain UGLY !!!! Sorry not trying to be mean, but if I'm spending 50 grande it better look like 50 grande. JMO!!!!

I hafta disagree. Id rather have a sled that looks like frankenstein but works awesome than some trailer queen. Maybe Im just sick of specialty sleds, powder coated trailer queens that sit at the bottom of the hill and wait for everyone to admire how awesome their sleds are.

I agree kind of. BUT a sled can look good and still out climb anything out there just look at all the sleds in the Boost series. I also have a powder coated sled that looks good to me and that is all that matters to me. If it get's rolled and scratched up, so be it.Rubin's racing!!!!! That just means I get to tinker out in the garage again. That's where i'd rather be anyway's. I enjoy the build just as much as i do the ride, After all isn't that what sledin is all about? Great friends and comrodery,great climbs!! And memories that last a life time.Cheers!!
