Do you want to know if your sled is using the right amount of oil? Here is an equation to figure it out.
Gallons of gas X 128 divided by ounces of oil = ____ :1
Example-
12.5 gallons of gas X 128 = 1600 divided by 32 oz of oil = 50:1
Make sure your fuel and oil are topped off before you ride. When you get back remember the amount of fuel you used and measure you oil in ounces and do the math. 50:1 ratio is a desireable mix to shoot for. 30:1 is to much oil and 70:1 is not enough. Try it and see what you come up with.
