So I watched Yukon Men, episode 2 (I think). Setting is Tanana, AK. 200 people.
The wood-cutter, named James, has his kid helping him...the kid is ABOUT 14. Native looking. His name is Francis (but dad calls him Frankie).

Soooo how many 14 year old native kids in Tanana, AK are named Frankie?

What are the chances our Frankie, age 14 (no, we are not really claiming him), is one in the same as Frankie, age 14, on the TV show?

He's for real and so is Tanana, AK. I haven't seen the show but I'm assuming they call just about everyone an aunt or uncle? Everyone is related if you know what I mean. There are a lot of reality shows up here, they are taking advantage of a big state subsidy that reimburses them for partial costs incurred.
 
there's a thread I think he started on hcs that is several pages deep with him running his suck and everyone else trashing him. . .he's kind of a jackwagon. ...going off what he says and how he talks anyway..

Yea I seen the show. And found the thread on HCS here where he still hasn't changed one bit.

Seen the episode think was the first one where him and his dad were cutting trees? LOl he is the same rotten kid, when his dad was gullible enough to trust him with pushing the tree to make it fall on the show. Frankie goes and pushes it the wrong way maybe tryin to take out his step-dad to claim his business and all vehicles like he "says" he "owns" on all sites he WAS a member on or ones that actually let him back...

He's a tool but remember be is 14 and just acting out his age I guess never found out the real things in life yet...just sayin, not defending him.

I live in arctic Canada and watched the show, it is just really exagerated and overstretched. I mean need to get some caribou so they can survive? Heck all little communities in the north do have running water, a store, utilities,etc and they can go and buy food, etc.

If they were actually living off the land from caribou to caribou do you think frankie would have been able to become hated and in most maybe all cases banned on so many sites?

Seen a a couple bad edits also on the show where they are riding one snowmobile and some clips here and there they are riding a different sled on the same hunt. And when they are hunting caribou saying it is -60* out and they aren't really so affected by the frozen temps? heck even up here in the arctic we all know not to go out during those temps. If we happen to be out and those temps come around not much you can do but stay in the tent as your sled won't start or won't run long enough without seizing up and needing a whole new engine overhaul.

Darryl, i couldn't have said it much better. I made it through two episodes before i saw enough. Bad editing and unrealistic sorry lines/premises. Seemed awfully silly.

watched it, He crashes on the Polaris indy, then they show the ski-doo with the locked up engine?

alos they keep switching back and forth to the sled with and without the big skid plate in the front?
am I missing something or was that a real bad edit.
 
Now I need to check all this out to see what you guys are all in a tizzie about. Great, more wasted time not getting anything productive done.

Same kid. He's been working hard at getting banned form all the AK outdoors forums. I'm pretty sure he could get a shponshurship at this point.
