Fork Adjustments?

I got my 2012 WR 450f and Mountain Horse kit in time to ride last season. This summer when I rode the bike, I quickly learned my suspension was not ideally set up for riding the trails in the mountains. I took the bike to Moto Pro and after they did their magic, it is now perfect for my weight riding it as a dirt bike.

So the question is, do I leave the forks as they are now for the winter riding or are there recommendations for adjustments that should be made to make it ride the best in the snow?

I rode my 05 WR450 last winter with a Mountain Horse kit with stock forks. I always felt like the front end was riding too low and I was afraid to ride very aggressively because I felt like I'd go over the bars. I almost never stood while riding for this reason. It felt great this past summer as a dirt bike, though.

So I just bought a set of stiffer fork springs (.52 kg/mm) that I'll use this winter. From what I've read, that's one of the best ways to keep the front end from diving. Along with taller bar risers and adjusting the back suspension to squat a little, I think it's going to be a lot better this year... can't wait to get out there!
 
You can get by by cranking the compression in almost all the way ( I did last yearon my 2012 WR) but heavier springs do work better.

It is also very important to set up the skid to transfer well and 2’’ risers moved slightly back I also have relocated my Footpegs 2“ back to move as much weight to the back as possible. Now if I could just get a supercharger on that WR:face-icon-small-hap
