Forest Fire Closes Gallagher and lake Ann Roads

Jack Creek Fire Information and Trail Closures

The closure area for the Jack creek fire has been expanded. The
Wenatchee River District requested that we close all trails leading into the
area of the fire, or into the expected fire perimeter, or that are being used
by crews on a regular basis. In light of this, an order should be signed
today that closes the following roads and trails:
Ingalls Way trail #1390
Longs Pass trail # 1229
Esmerelda basin trail # 1394
Paddy-Go-Easy Pass Trail #1595.1
Scatter Creek Trail #1328
North Scatter Trail #1328.1
Fortune Creek 4x4 Trail #4W301
Van Epps 4x4 Trail #4W302
Lake Ann Trail #1226.2
Fortune Creek Road #4330-170

not unless you want to ride wilderness.....it sucks that area is (almost) impossible to reach by sleds lol i have hiked that area at least twice a year for three or four years now its a beautiful valley and the views are amazing.
awesome views of stuart and ingalls

sucks its on fire.
i say let nature take its way
it will grow back sooner or later

plane ride

I can get you a plane ride over the Stuarts, but you have to get to Warden Airport. We fly over every year to see new spots to ride.

Rett

you cant. where the fire is burning its pretty impossible to get to but on the other side of jack creek people have dropped into that valley on sleds.
i have not seen it but i have seen sled parts in the summer through binos
