Ever wish you could see just exactly how and what goes into the process of making and assembling a Ford Super Duty?

I just got done reading this article... and COOL is an understatement... Take 20 or 30 minutes and have a gander at this!:face-icon-small-hap

OK I like my power and enjoy driving and towing with my 6.7 but if my truck passed the "squeak and rattle" test they must have had the radio on. They should have a "sqeak/rattle/wind and road noise" test and be sure the radio is off and the ear plugs are not in. Check out youtube videos on using latex surgical tubing to reinforce the door seals becasue of wind and road noise. Check out youtube guys who have found the loose screws in the dash and techniques they have to fix.
All of the new big diesels (Ford, GM, Dodge) are powerful and they each have pros/cons. I like Fords but got a chuckle out of that part of the Kentucky Plant story.

I do agree with you on that... mine may be an 'old' 02, but my back doors still squeak even AFTER adding surgical tubing to the door seals:eek: Very Annoying that they can't get that little detail pinned up with all the technology they put into these things. Hell the doors on my 94 have NEVER squeaked, and its got 200K on it now, lol.
