Ford F250 transmission need help finding one in the US

Hi folks.

I am trying to help out a friend who has a 1999 F250 heavy duty 7.3 liter powerstroke.

He need a new AT transmission for the truck, and I'm trying to find a place to buy a second hand in the states. Over here i scandinavia they are like 5000 usd second hand, if you are lucky to find one.

I have been looking at ebay, and found a few, but there are very few for 1999 with that engine. Most are 5.4 gasoline.

BTW, it is a 4x4.
If anyone have a tip where to find one, let me know. It can't be core exchange of obvious reason.

sorry for the late response, just saw this. you want to replace it with a BTS. i'd consider it the only option to replace the weak stock tranny.

I hope their trannies are better than their website....pretty lame. No pertinent info regarding their product or service.

I honestly didn't browse around it much before posting it, but yeah... their website sucks.

Call a USA Ford dealer. Carry out on a 3 year warranty transmission 2100.00. That warranty is any ford dealer in USA parts and labor. I know you are out USA but 2100 is damn cheap.
