what would these weights be equivalant to in AC weights? If my correct the MTX weights run a little heavy?

Here is the page at slp web site, on mtx weights. the 40-96 is 71 gram, but you will have to look at their page to see the design, you can install weight in the cam arm for your desired application.

So to answer your question, i would imagine it would be from a 62 cat weight up to a 73 cat weight depending on what weight you have in the holes of the cam arm. It has the same curve as the cat cam arms.

I already have a box of cat weights, decided to stay with my cat weights. with the MTX weights I found out that when i went from a used belt which had a full season on it to a new cat belt. I would need to shim the spider for the correct clearance while using the MTX weights. SLP tells you that you need to shim the spider, ( they include the shims ) you can tune the MTX weights by adding included rivets to the cam arm. I just didnt want to see all my arctic cat weights going to waist after I would have re-shimed to MTX.
SLP states that you need the MTX to get the full benefit of the pipe kit.
Im just going to try it my way. If It doesnt work guess I would do the re-shim of spider. They worked great all day, but I wanted to try a new belt to try and get that "little extra" out of my sled and thats when I noticed the difference in shive clearance. Its not a big deal to shim spider I just didnt want to take the time to do it. Rickm
