For Sale in Swapmeet

Is it just me or does it bother anyone else. Some of the ads that get posted are rediculous. For Sale 2012 Ski Doo. I mean come on. Give all info to get someone interested. Pictures inside and out. Price. Phone number. Miles on sled. Where is the item you are selling? Details details details. In this day and age just a phone number that has an Alaska area code could belong to someone living in Colorado. If I was in Colorado I darn sure would not call on the item assuming it was in Alaska. The ads here do not cost a thing, there is no such thing as to much info.
Rant over!

If it's a smoking deal I'm glad when they don't post a bunch of info and do post a number.
Weeds out all the tire kickers .
Then serious shopper' s call the number and done deal..

Salesmanship 101

pics and data, pretty simple concept, that's the problem with the world today
u can't fix stupid

Ya that stuff drives me nuts. Don't need life story, and I'm sure not everyone is good with pics on the net.....but how can you have an ad that doesn't at LEAST have; model, miles, location, price, contact info, condition, options, colour etc.

Although on the flip side....I always post all that stuff in an ad, and inevitably get a bunch of people asking me what model it is, colour, miles, condition, price, options.....lol

Three things that really pizz me off is...

1.A seller starts out and says...."whats this worth? then never prices it or says it is for sale. He is just fishing for as much as he can get with the security of not asking to little. Do some research and price your stuff....man up.

2. The other one is when a seller wont price his item...just says "make me a offer" than a buyer MAKES a offer on the post and seller doesnt like it (obviously seller had price in mind) but wont counter or even acknowledge the buyers offer. I can doo without these peeps.

3. Item sells and seller pulls the asking price out of description...I mean come on, its not top secret and that info helps buyers establish what to pay or sellers what to ask.

Now on the flip side of it I have had sellers ON HERE ask a fair to lower price than they should get flooded with responses even after I said I would take it...then the seller maintains his integrity and says....."I sold it to cheap I think but a deal is a deal"<------------That is most of us here on SW..peeps with integrity.

I just bought a sled from swapmeet, (well tentatively anyways, gotta pick it up Saturday). Guy posted at least the basic need to know info, and several pics, and responded to a pm. Which peeked my interest to call on it. Few days later deal done. I looked at many ads that didn't have the info they should, and didn't have pics. I wasn't going to waste my time pm'ing or calling them to try to get the info they should give out in the first place. If they can't put the effort into selling their sleds, I'm not gonna put the effort into buying it. There is more than enough used sleds out there for sale than to have to deal with that stuff. My 2 cents :face-icon-small-hap

Been there, I posted a seat for sale from an 02 600 RMK, asked $100 shipped. Included pics and relevant info. Guy from NEW YORK bought it, but a deal was made and he got an awesome seat for $100. I lost my butt on the deal (shipping was $40) but that's life.

I can kinda see the green peppers.....but onions? How would one make a decent sauce, salad or burger patty sans onions??? You crazy....
