2005 Polaris 800 VES Engine w/reverse
Built by Jack Struthers, no expense spared
New crank trued w/big bearing kit, Cylinders and crankcase full race ported by Jack Struthers
New pistons & rings
V-force 3 reeds
Modified to run pre-mix
CDI reflashed
SLP cheater head w/45.3cc domes
Engine has p.e.r.c. & d.e.t.
Includes Crankshop twin pipes, modified airbox, cdi, wiring harness, carbs, oil pump (never used), all coolant hoses, fittings, and parts to complete swap. All that is needed is PSI1200 motor plate. Pipes just clear the headlights.

I see in your description that the CDI is reflashed. Who does that and what does it gain you? Must use a different timing map that is more aggressive? Does that entail using race gas or is the heads you have chosen that determine octane? Thx.
