polaris sled

be carefull with this one!!! i looked at this sled. tunnel is bent under the footwells, bellie pan is cracked, engine is not running right not hitting on the mag sideall the time. i think he he is trying to sell a lemon!!!! good juck you are going to need it if you think you are going to sell this one.

Response to TED

Ted is really upset because he came to look at my sled and when he could'nt get me to accept his low ball offer this is what he did. I would be really causious when dealing with him. Let the sled speak for itself!

polaris sled

i did not make him a lowball offer. we had a deal at $2000.00 for the sled if everything was in good working order. it was not!!! like i said tunnel is bent, bellie pan is has about a 6-8" crack in it and the motor doesn't run right. i told him i would pay 1500.00 for sled, look at the motor and pay the rest minus what was wrong with motor.would not be so bad but i drove a long way to buy this sled and belived when he said everything was in good working order. i even sent him $500.00 to hold it for two weeks untill i had a chance to look at it. this guy is waiting for a sucker to come buy his sled be aware of this person.

Let The Sled Speak For Itself

First of all the tunnel is not bent like he would like you to believe. The foot boards have a wrinkle in them towards the front. If the tunnel were bent there would be a kink in the sides of the tunnel which there is not. That would be a problem in that case. The crack in the bellie pan is something new to me since this is the first I have heard of that. Which I find ironic because he seemed to point out every flaw so I would feel compelled to lower my price. As far as the engine other than a little jet work that I think it needs runs just fine. He did send me $500 to hold it for 2 weeks while I turned down potential buyers, which under Utah law I was not required to return but did. He was in no way obligated to buy it and I was in no way obligated to sell it. It is in fact a used sled with wear and tear on it. The one thing I have learned from all of this is I will not hold anything I have for sale without requiring a non refundable deposit. If you are interested in looking at it, just know it is a USED sled. Decide for yourself if it is worth the money. Or you can believe the rantings of someone who in my opinion is upset because I exercised my agency not to be bent over. After all you have the agency to choose.

so the sled is not in show room condition with all the extras for $2500? I would not expect a sled to be in perfect shape for that price. if I was closer I'd buy it but just to far away for me

polaris

i guess it's my turn again. the tunnel was suppose to be straight not have a bend in it. the crack is right on top of the left side of the shock mount, not to hard to miss.the deal was for $2000.00 for a sled that was used but had a good running motor. no problem with the tunnel & the bellie pan. was willing to pay him the $2000.00 but wanted to see what was the problem with the engine first. he did not want to do that be cause there is a problem other that the carb problem he would leave you to belive.. i drove over 600 miles to BUY this sled.he thinks i was a sucker knowing the engine was a problem but failed to say anything about this. boy o boy he did give me my money deposite back i guess that makes him a saint. judge for yourself but i think he is a jackass. would not go to all this trouble to be not telling to truth.

good hell SNOWMAN88 STFU and move on!!! I sold an 02 rolling chassi for more than that 6 months ago!!! I was going to buy it just to part it out. I sold a TCP long travel kit for $500 and the shocks weren't near the quality of AXIS/ZBRO! Simmons, rear skid, LW hood, Pipes, Track, Reeds, Carbs....Im pretty sure that would get you to $2k and you still have the motor, clutches, and chasi.

600 miles JUST TO BUY A $2500 SLED? Your FU GGEN RETARTED!!!

If I had a sled at a dirt cheap price like that and some a-hole told me over the puter or phone it "IS SOLD" then the dink starts nit picken Im pretty sure I would be a little pissed to say the least! BUT NO...DINK is the one that is pissed after his insulting low ball offer is refused and his deposit refunded.

So I just did a quick search on our local classifieds. Out of 1,575 sleds there were 3 Edge(2002-2005) RMK 800s. One was for $2900, The sled in question(add was posted 21 days ago sounds like it is sold) listed for $2500, and an 02 800 with a BROKEN CRANK for $2350....

Now that is just Utah, Western WY, and some Idaho. Now maybe 600 miles away you get alot more sled for your $2500...So please refer to my previous statement about you being fu ggen retarted for driving 600 miles for a $2500 sled
