Every Veterans Day I like to get out my dads metals (WWII, he passed in '92) and letters and look them over. It reminds me how fortunate I am that I did not have to serve, especially in war time. For that I am fortunate, for those who did serve I am grateful.

None of us civilians can ever be thankful enough to those who served, and most importantly those who gave their lives. There is nothing we should not be willing to do to repay their sacrifices.

Nice to see the patriotism and gratefulness from the "American" population. Hey Canucks...feel free to say thanks to the Canadian vets who fought and died to make our country a safer place for all of us. From myself, thanks to all the vets, Canadian and American who have sacrificed so much for all our benefits!
