Foot peg choices

I'm looking for a larger foot peg setup. I checked out Fastway, but I can't talk myself into spending that kind of money on the adventure peg they have. Any other companies out there who also make a larger peg at a decent price?

What is a good price?
I use on my BMW F650GS the pivot pegs yes expensive but worth every penny.
Large foot surface when riding with big boots and easy to shift because they pivot. No mud build up assume no snow.

I bought the zip Ty peg extensions.google zip ty racing, they bolt to your original pegs

I had a tear run down the inside of my leg when bought the fastway pegs.. but now I feel they are one of the best investments I have made for snowbiking.

i use the zipty extensions because the offset width and length are to the rear so my big clunky boots can still get under the shifter, I also add a peice of rubber hose on the shifter to extend it out!

sorry put this on the boot thread earlier but I have these and like em... gotta kick ice off em a little and in dirt in the big rocks can be an issue but the flip all the way up and havent broke soooo.

These Zipty extensions look great, but it looks like they're only made specifically for the Euro bikes... anyone know if they can be made to fit a WR? The shape and size of the footpeg in the picture looks really close to my Yamaha, but for these extensions to work the fit probably needs to be EXACTLY right.

I know that my best option is the Fastway Adv pegs, but I can't get past the sticker shock. :face-icon-small-win

This is my solution to the foot peg issue since I posted this. My buddy Joel helped me weld this up and powder coat it.

comfort...........ahhhhhh

you add a little, than a little more, then you get over the odd look and make something that really works. my riding partner DAN build these for our new bikesw, makes bike pegs feel pretty weak. bout $2 of material, 12" of 2" flat bar 5/16" holes drilled 1/2" apart, then cut the flatbar lengthwise through the center of the holes. Solves a lot of issues about what kind of boots to wear, overshoes work ok now.

Welp, I finally bit the bullet (or maybe I "bit the billet"?) and ordered some Fastway Adventure pegs. The best deal I could find was about $220 shipped from cyclebuy.com after a 10% off discount code. I know they'll be great and I won't regret it, right? Lol.

Nicely done , I'm running the IMS stainless and the area that builds up ice is the reinforced area close to the pivot . I'm always kicking the inside of the pegs , the outside area hasn't been a problem . Next set of pegs will not have any inside reinforcement and also a personal note small pegs are a good thing , they keep your knees turned in where as the bigger pegs allow for slop and turned out knees .

Fastway ADV pegs

I recently got a set of the fastway ADV pegs and cant be happier. I had another set of bolt on extenders, however I found them to be way to wide and I could not hold the bike very well, (front to back)
The Fastway pegs are the answer for me, pricy but like most things you get what you pay for.

Yep, me too... I bolted up the new PMB's on the WR last night and they look and feel great. I'll probably get a KLR fit kit so I can use them for summer ADV riding. :face-icon-small-hap
