Fogging oil into turbo intake?

Hey guys just wondering if there's anything wrong with fogging the engine by removing the intake tube, starting the engine, and spraying fogging oil into the turbo intake while revving it up a little to get the compressor wheel spinning a little faster than idle.

Why remove the intake tube?

he is probably referring to the air filter.
but I'd remove the charge tube and do it. makes sense to me.
is it intercooled?

Mtntk turbo, intake has a course filter material in the tube so it'd have to be removed to get the fogging oil through it. Non intercooled, BTW...
