Here's the story. Sled runs very well. Never misses a beat all day.
Coming home down the trail about 5000 rpm. Start to get into the fog. Noticed it starting to load up a bit. But nail the throttle a bit and it cleans up good, pulls hard. Fog gets thicker. To the point you can only see 15-20' at best. Now it is over fueling the mag side (because it always runs fatter than the PTO side). The mag side started to foul out. (I can tell by the EGT's falling off). Would still clean up and fire if I nailed it.
Dropped below the fog and instantly it was running just like it did all day. Great!
So question is what will high humidity and fog do to the EFI fuel control?
Does this even sound right?
If so I may need to create a "Fog" boondocker box setting to run leaner in the heavy fog.
Ideas?
Thanks
