Flooding issues...

T
 Ok...so Ive noticed that this might just be a skidoo thing, but I thought I'd check with all yall...
My rev floods out soooo easily! I can understand it when its upside down, but even getting stuck with it on its side it will flood out and die and I have to change plugs in order to get it to start...Its not running too rich, plugs are just a shade darker than cardboard and when it runs, it runs like a raped ape!

My 07' isn't quite that bad but it does flood out a lot. I have never had to change a plug though...take the elastic band on your glove and wrap it around the throttle in the WOT position and usually 2 or 3 pulls and it'll lug to life.

I think holding the throttle at WOT with one hand and pulling the sled over would be a better idea, usually the best way to get a sled started after it is flooded. Wrapping something around the throttle and pulling the sled over sounds like a recipe for disaster!!!

I've done it hundreds of times...the sled gurgles to life and the glove can be pulled off really easy. When your stuck on a steep hill after a rollover and the sled is pointed down hill it is just about impossible to hold the throttle and give the rope a pull.

check your float levels in the carbs..normally if you drop them an 1/8in. it wont flood out nearly as easy....

Never park a skidoo facing downhill seems like they all like to flood when pointed down. At least that is the way my last 3 skidoos worked. But I have to admit that my REV seems good that way.
