float in rear shock location

is there any way to put a float in the rear shock position? and get rid of the torsion spring. short of buying a whole new skid can i don this?

Not sure but I would think there would be a little more to the geometry involved than just changing out the shock. I looked into this a little before and found this company that makes a kit for what you are talking about.
