float evol install

The evol chamber needs to sit on the bottom right(passenger) side. If it is positioned above the shock body you run a high risk of having it come in contact with the track....which would get expensive. So your evol chamber will sit towards the back of the sled, and positioned down toward the ground.

when im saying top and bottom, I'm referring to the shock itself on the sled, not the evol chamber in relation to the shock itself.

So the evol chamber side of the shock connected to the top, evol chamber on the right hand side of the sled facing down?

X2. That's how I mounted my Evol R, only way it will live, and the location Carl's recommends. I did file a slight lip in my upper mount bracket where the Evol chamber would just rub a tad. No issue now.

My evol rear HAD a red rebound adjustment knob where the one in the pic above has a screwdriver looking adjuster.

Mine is now broken off, (guessing contact with the track) Anyone else had that issue?

Mine did'nt come with the rebound adjuster knob, just the screw, for the rear track shock. Ski shocks have rebound knob. Shocks came from Carl's, who have them made to their spec by Fox. FWIW.
