Float Conversion Kit

Just got a great deal on a float conversion kit for my crossfire! How hard are these to install? I will probably just end up having my mechanic do it when he does my pre season checkup. This will be my first float shock, is there anything i need to know about them, and what about setup? I weigh 175 with no gear.

It is one of the easiest things you could ever install on your sled outside of new carbides. It is an easy swap! Do yourself a favor and changed the hyfax while you are under there. I did this conversion on a 2006 M7 LE 162, only "Custom" thing I needed was the Holz relocation brackets to change the geometry of the front arm. If you have the newer 09-08 crossfire it is a clean 1-1 swap so to speak.

I pumped my float to like 145-150, as I like it to ride a little stiff, you could probably start in the 125-130 range.

I got mine for $385 from a guy that bought it and decided he didnt want it anymore bcuz he didnt want to do some minor mods to his sled to get it to fit. Freeagent on here has the best deals new out of anywhere else I have seen, PM here she will give you a price and any info you want to know about it.
