Float-2's or Evol-R's?

I have the evol-r-x and they are great ,,the 2 stage compression and rebound adjusters alowed me to dial it right in for no swaybar sweeet!!! on the front of my new M I have the std floats and your right they are verry bouncy unless you run low air pressure

I like my float 2's on my M-series but I can only compare to my 05 firecat with the first gen floats.

The m- is way better, but it could be the chassis difference also.

I have run up to 80psi on them when we had a trail ride day for better handling, they were firm but not bouncy

if you can afford them, get the Rs!

if not the Float 2s are huge improvement over the cat floats (which are a VERY cheap version of the real thing). The 2s have more air volome and a negative return spring that lets them act a little plusher and return in more "spring" like manner. I found the new negative spring pressure too stiff in the floats 2s so i had them modified with softer springs, but that's on my XP, which is a little harder to sidehill than my previous Ms. man though, the floats 2s are SUCH an improvement over the stock shocks on the XP! I love 'em!

Hmmm,
Sounds like it may be a harder decision than I thought...

I have rode a sled with original floats and found them to be waaaayyy better than the Floats from Cat also. This being the case I figured that the Float-2's would be a big improvement over the Cat Floats.

However the point made about dialing them in for no sway-bar sounds really good because I took off my sway-bar.
It almost always seems to be a compromise between having enough air pressure to keep from rolling over too much, and being way too stiff.

If the Evol-R's are even that much badasser than Float-2's I may cough up the extra for them. But how's the valving in them?
I've ridden the Evol'x's and they were insane stiff. Though that was on Paul Thackers Snow-X sled so maybe a bad comparison.?

ok shock ROOKIE on site...... I just picked up a 09 M10 LE sno pro with the fox floats on it. So what is the psi thst is suppose to be in the front ones and how about the one in the back. And is that just called a fox float or is that the fox float 2's that you are taking about just want to get the same lingo dont so i know what i got or what i need
