Flip Attack 20??

I have an 05 m7, my attack 20 is in the pp position and wondering if i should flip it to hc pos., or just straighten it in pp pos., or both. Ride mostly Grand Mesa(snow conditions) so please help me out. Also what about braking in hc pos??

that track is one or the other !!great traction for going up, crazy carpet coming down. Or crappy going up and great braking coming down. Swap it out to a maverick or something.

I had my switched to hillclimb mode and it did better in harder snow and threw a rooster tail that no one would follow. It gave me horrible braking though on steep, hard terrain.

My buddy has an A20 with screws that he ran in HC for a while now, first 500 or so miles it sorta sucked, but now it works exceptionally well, works pretty darn good in deep snow, and when it sets up, his A20 will SLAY most any sled bigger or smaller.

what length is yours??

A-20

Don't flip it... I bought my M7 with the track was already turned around and after about 850 miles most of the lugs were either torn or damaged. It was good in the hard pack, but in any pow over 6" it would dig a deep trench. My brother bought a M7 with the track on right and it would out climb mine like no other. I ended up buying a Mavrick and that thing kicks azz. Sell the attack 20 and buy the Mavrick.

I like mine backwards, in the hardpack it will walk away from most sleds on the hill, just that much traction. It does alright in the fluff, will still dig a heck of a hole, but that could be my combined weight of close to a tank! I didn't notice that mutch of a loss in braking except on the hardpack days, but, I've got carbide tipped traction screws in every third paddle, so I really think it helps. Hard to say no to a track you can get for SOOOO cheap! But they will work if your willing to put some time and effort into them.

Flip it and then straighten the lugs with a heat gun and stick of wood. If you have it in the Hill climb position and run it awhile, the paddkes will straighten out anyhow. I ride the Vail area, plenty of powder (in the Hill climb position) and don't have a problem, but my paddles have actually bent the other way (powder position) from all the riding, yet with those stronger supports of the HC position, the paddles don't bend ALL the way back. I get the best of both worlds.

mine is a 153. i dont want to tear all of the lugs off if i flip it because its really flimsy. The track has 2300ish miles on it. Just time for a new one i think.

Flip it and rip it. I'd say flip it and go for it for the rest of this season and buy a new one next year. From what I've seen you will probably spit some lugs and have a nice rooster going down the trail but who cares. If your looking to buy a new track it's worth the flip to see if you like it or not, plus it gives you some practice on swapping tracks for the new one.

Flip it and the straighten it out. Works great! here are the tools I built to straighten mine out.
