Flight for Life charity Poker Run--GL Feb 14

The town of Grand Lake, the Trail Blazers SC of GL and the Mile Hi SC of Denver are sponsoring a poker run with the proceeds going to Colorado Flight for Life to help defray to costs of air rescue in the high country.

FFL is a non profit air service that provides emergency copter transport to the ER. No one is turned down regardless of their ability to pay. If you have ever wrecked in the high country I bet the first thing you hope for after you check your pulse is "I hope FFL is on the way" 1/2 hour to most places west of the divide.

Food, drink and silent auction goodies will be provided by merchants and dealers. RPM Motorsports of Lakewood will have a DOO rep and (hopefully) an E-tec 600 Summit available for a demo.

Where: Grand Lake Community Center
Time: 9:00 to 5:00
Date: Feb 14---Valentine's Day, make love to your sled at Grand Lake

I'll be there with my wife, FFL saved a buddy of mine that tango'd with a tree snowboarding, Tib-Fib Compound, would have bled out on the mountain.

He made them prop him up in the chopper so he could see the view as they flew him to Denver...haha...we always call the FFL the "Dash-4-Cash" since you get a bill for 7K before they even land.
