Flatslides - Little Screw on Float Bowl

Who doesn't run them?

I was wondering why I needed to put them back on at the time....

They are somewhat problematic as the head strips easilly. And they don't go to eny internal passages....

I understand that in a test'n tune situation they could be handy - but otherwise .... ????

Then after it's all back together - I find them setting on the tunnel. LOL!


I don't see eny reason to take it back apart to install them - doo you?

It's for alignment only ... but I'd put it back in JIC; if the float bowl twisted for some reason, it's guaranteed to leak.

You can pull the cap off the bottom of the bowl to change jets without the bowl falling off. Kind of a nice feature with so little room to work in. Otherwise it really serves no purpose. If you don't fiddle with jetting, just leave it off.
