We headed out to Cooke for a week of riding. It was my first time there and I was amazed at the scenery and terrain. I was not sure if it would be worth the extra 8 hours in the truck, but it was! I hate that the season is now officially over for the crew, but it was a great trip to end with. Not a ton of fresh powder, but mid 30's and soft snow made for some great riding weather!

Check out the video I threw together. It was my first trip on the turbo M8, and it all I can say about that is WOW! Wish I would have made the leap sooner.

Matt, looks like you guys had a blast. I've never ridden Cook, may have to reevaluate that, given all the beautiful open country in your vid. The "green machine" sounded good! :tea:

Next years project is going to be a M1100T. Hope I won't regret it...fighting with that extra weight. :fencing:

She was running pretty spot on! I had the map a few points rich across the board to be safe for the first trip compared to the boon-docking map you had loaded in there, so it loaded up a bit going down hill, but was not a big issue. For a sled running purposely rich, it pulled well, and ran VERY clean under boost.

Hope you like the 1100t, get some weight off of it and it should be a wicked ride!

Cooke is a small area, but worth the trip, and must have the most good terrain per square mile of anywhere Ive ever seen! (except for the wilderness that surrounds the entire riding area!)
