Flatbeds - I'm in the market.. But

Why is it so hard to find a place that sells flatbeds that has a website with what they have in stock and how much they want for the bed?

Does anyone know of a flatbed dealer in Oregon that is willing to deal some?

Looking for a steel one powder coated black 80"-88" wide for a long bed 2500hd.

Planning on adding superclamps to it and hauling to sleds. I can easily make extensions that fit in the stake pockets if not wide enough.

Really like the Hillsboro GII

Trying to do some shopping but its hard with no prices or inventory...

Any leads...

Have you looked at the Silver Lake Mfg. beds? They have pics and prices on their web site.

Try American west trailer sales (541)564-0911 hermiston or, just drove by there tonight and they had a pile of flatbeds sitting there.

I don't mean to thread jack but I am also wondering who makes them. I know that Silver Lake makes them. Is there anyone else around WA, Northern ID or Montana that makes them.

Thanks

I'm building one currently for myself. 82"x102" with hinged side rails. 48x96 ramp stored underneath. Some custom stuff added that's not found on any production bed. I'll add some pics if anyone is interested.

Just this one for now. More to come. Siderails hinge down and sit flat to allow for 2 sleds to be side by side.

I have been working up a plan for a custom one for myself and wow, that has just about every featuer im working into mine, good to see how some of it comes together!!

I really like the Silverlake "sledbeds".
Ramp stores underneath. Nobody else builds that. You have to get a bi-fold or tri-fold ramp and use them for siderails for anyone else's ramps.

Goodneck, storage boxes, hinged sides, if need be. Can also put stake pockets on there.

FULL LED lighting.

Powder coating...

You can customize how high or low the receiver hitch is.

He'll put on your back-up sensors or rear view camera.

Everyone else has been building them for farm and ag applications, but Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Mike (motomikey on SW), at Silverlake was the first person to built a sled-specific flat-bed. Maybe even the first to build ANY motor-sport specific flat bed.

Silver lake makes very nice beds and I have friends who have them. I felt there were some changes that could be made to better suit my specific needs. However the similar idea of hauling sleds and a slide in ramp stored under the deck is common. This will be my personal bed. Full led lighting, powder coated, 48x96 one piece ramp, side boxes, 30k gooseneck, superclamp 2's and a very unique floor. I just thought I'd share my ideas and a glimpse of my product.

That is how North Cascade is building mine. Silver Lake makes a great sledbed and I can't say anything bad about his products.

I met Josh from North Cascade Sled Decks at the Puyallup Snow Show, and after talking with him for awhile, he gave me a price that I could not refuse. I was going to do a steel flatbed and a universal ramp, due to the price, but Josh's quality and price were worth spending more money. Normally, he builds decks, but mine will be the second bed and first dually bed. I will see if he wants me to post up pics of the one at Puyallup. Mine will be different.

I want to bug him to get mine done early, but I have to wait. I already scrapped my bed and cannot haul my snowmobile until he gets my new bed built. It will be worth the wait.
