I wanted to remind everyone that the Flashpoint Snowbike Races are on for Saturday January 25th in McCall Idaho. This is going to be an event that a lot of people involved with Timbersled will be attending to better support the growth of the snowbike industry. There will be demo rides, races, and full/half day group rides with many groups and this is all going on during McCalls' Winter Carnival. Winter Carnival is probably the main visitor attraction to McCall and will feature things like parades, ice sculptures, bull riding, ice fishing derbies, a winter ale festival (yes, BEEEEEER!), and of course the high octane Flashpoint Snowbike Race at the McCall Golf Course. Last year the race itself drew over 1,500 spectators... so it's not some small tiny rinky dink race. This is not a Timbersled exclusive race as all manufacturers should be represented.
The event details are still coming together, but you can expect the layout to be something like this:
For right now that's really all the detailed the event will be until we get closer to the race itself. This event will have something for everyone... group rides, racing, chatting it up with the people you've met here on Snowest, and meeting local dealers that will be in town. Ronnie Renner and his posse will be present along with factory KTM rider Mike Brown. Several film crews will be shooting as well.
Something to note.... McCall is getting booked up fast. I was able to reserve my hotel room at the Boulder Creek Inn in Donnelly Idaho (about 10min south of McCall). Idaho has an inn booking service called Inn Idaho that does an unbelieveable job of finding rooms in locations that are publicly booked solid. Call them up at 1-800-84-IDAHO or check out the website at http://www.innidaho.com. Looking forward to see you all there. Should be a blast!

- Wednesday - Timbersled and crew arriving that night
- Thursday - Demo rides available from Carls Cycle
- Friday - Timbersled Day. There will most likely be two half day group rides split between the morning and afternoon sessions. It is recommended you bring a radio so we can all communicate effectively and keep the herd contained as best as possible. If enough people pre-register for the rides there will probably be full day group rides at several locations concurrently but still leaving from the same parking lot.
- Friday Night - group dinner with everyone at the same location. To be announced.
- Saturday - Parade in the morning, exhibition riding from two groups tearing it up on the beach, and then the fun racing at 1pm at the Golf Course. Pre-register for the race no later than noon if you want to be able to get some good practice in on the course.
