What is the best flashlight out there? Been looking but havent found good ones.

For what? To carry or something that is super bright, but not real good for carrying?
Bright! But able to hold around. Not going to carry it much but nothing bigger than A big maglite. mostly used for our trips at night. Will only be used when needed. Found this one. lol

best you can get..streamlites..I carry their task lite..you could easily walk out in the dark and not kill the batteries...they have all sorts..check em out....http://www.streamlight-flashlights.com/

ah, high-intensity LEDs and some research = $$$.
Pelican makes some flashlights for hazardous duty applications, guarantee they're less than $490. Same company that makes Pelican cases (hence the name), and if you're familiar at all with them you know what to expect from their flashlights.

hahha i knew someone would say that. But that flashlight is just a lil bit to expensive for me. lol
I have a Surefire 6P LED I got on sale for $60, I think they are around a 100 normally, but the make a different light with the same internals just a plastic body instead of aluminum. Even with it being LED, it is FARRRRR brighter than my 4d maglight! About 4" long and tough as he!!(don't laugh.)
A lot of bang for your buck. The run time is about 100 hours. Menards has them for about the same price.

X2.... love the light, the only thing that sucks is buying lithium batteries those are kind of spendy.
i saw that one and was thinking bout it but havent heard of anyone using it so thats why i started this thread.
Shouldn't be disapointed, very compact and durable. It won't take up any room in a pack and every bit as bright as a big mag light.
alright thats probaly the one i will go with. Seems like a good flashlight. I owned a good one but lost it in the mountians last year.

Streamlight.. Been using them for 20 years.
Big, small, lanterns. Have them in the house; mounted in the trucks; carry small one's sledding at night.
Lantern's last about 9 hours on a charge.
