flashing instrument cluster and less power.

I was riding a pro on friday. the sled absolutley rips. atleast until i shut it off. I restarted the sled and the sled, idled at 800 rpms and the clutch engaged at 1800 rpms. the sled sounded sick and the instrument cluster started flashing all its lights in unison.

any ideas?

I got it to the dealer friday night but they wont be able to look at it unitl tuesday morning and i want to ride it on friday.

Sounds like a broken primary spring to me if the clutch was trying to engage at 1800 rpm.

Mine will flash the dash lights and run rough if I shut it off hot and it spikes over the 165ish number for a few seconds but then clears up as soon as it starts to cool down.

sounds like what my buddies doo xp did when his stator went.

I was told broken primary spring. glad it was a simple fix.
I only have 100 miles on it, but i was missing that sled. road the backup m on sunday and wow what a difference between the 2 sleds. the m isn't even in the hunt.
