I just installed our real fire graphics kit on a sidepanel for Steelhead. Take a peek. Simple and clean way to really turn heads. Will be completing a full sled next week so I'll have pics of that soon

These panels will go on my wifes 08 XP. The new black panels and the flame job will really sharpen up the plain look of this sled. I want to change the yellow spings to red. Does anyone know if powdercoating the springs will hurt them? I am sure the temps from powdercoating must get super hot? Will it mess with the temper of the spring steel?

A fellow Alaskan rider named Caleb (Nikolai on the forums) has had his springs powder coated on many of his sleds, in fact, I dont think he rides without powdercoating. He says the coating holds up great, and believe me, he uses all available spring travel when he jumps (more like flying than jumping).

I dont think he has had any problems with them.

Powdercoating temps is 400f @ 10 minutes.Not a problem for springs.
