Looking to get a 2016 long track TS. I'm trying to go low budget on this build so I ask, is the Tss fit kit that much better? I'd like to go with the cheaper basic kit but will I regret it down the road? Thanks for the help.

just understand, if you are looking at used kits, the TS front spindles have to be drilled for specific applications by the installer. so, if it has already been on a bike, you will have to buy a new spindle (approx. 200.00 u.s.d), or weld the holes, and re-drill for your application, if the kit was not on your specific application bike. adds into your cost, labor. personally, I would not weld and drill. Thanks. I'd be getting a new fit kit. Great point on a used kit though.
Fitkit doesn't change spindle drilling. Most installs I have been apart of the drilling has been fine. Welding a redrilling shouldn't be a problem if needed though.
