Fish lake info please

I’m planning to take the motor home and my family over to Fish Lake next weekend 2-22 thru 2-24. Anyone know what kind of shape the snow park by the airstrip is in. Is there any big events like dog sled or other going on?
Thanks for any info.

The Fish lake I'm referring to is out of Leavenworth by Lake Wenatchee.
Thanks for the info, I tried those websites but couldnt find any good info. Anyone been there lately that can give me first hand info.
Thanks

I'm heading over there tomorrow morning and I'll be using the lot near the end of the runway.
I'll post the conditions tomorrow or Sun.

Fish Lake Area

I got there today about noon and made a quick trip up to snowcone and the trip up was great and as we were eating our lunch on top, the rain came and so we left to go back. The parking lot was in good enough shape but the road from the road to the parking lot had trenches in it but it was no problem. I looked on the board in the parking lot and I didnt see anything posted for your weekend, but you should look at the web sites listed above since they will probibly show it if there is something. We left about 3pm and the pass had snow on it but it was still comming down and it is raining at my house which means it is really snowing now.

Hope this give you a little info, Hope you have a good trip and who knows maybe we will see you there!

Me and my wife rode out of the Snow park at the end of the airstrip yesterday.
The trenches in the entrance road were fairly deep and hard in the morning but were beaten down at the end of the day, mostly from melt from the warm temps. :sun:
We found some great riding in a few of our "Secret" areas...(That only a few hundred people know about) !!!

Bright blue skies all day and warm enough to ride in a T shirt and WSSA vest all day long! (Just a little shameless plug there) ;) It was like spring riding with better snow although the snow was hard to leave a mark in down lower.
We used the scratchers on the trails all day but probably didn't need them up higher.

We planned on staying out into the night but wouldn't you know it, DAMN SKI DOO STARTER decided to break so we had to head back out after I finally got it started again. Plastic Doo crap.

The trails were "Baby butt smooth" leading to all the fun places so grooming is alive and awesome at "The Fish"

If I can get the starter parts this week I'll be back there next weekend.

Hey thanks for the great info guys. Packing the moto home today so we can take off early Friday. Fish always seems to have awsome grooming:D We rode out of Easton yesterday, kind of hard down low but found some OK riding up high. My family loves Fish lake, we are excited for next weekend.

I went there again yesterday 2-18-08 and parked at the airstrip and there was only about 4 units there. The trails had not been groomed in a while and were very rough. In my wifes words, she thougt it was going to be the ride from Hell. It did get better after we got past fish lake and on to the other trails. We were out for about 5 hours and had a good time. My wife cant move this morning, she doesnt like being riding with some one else. Her and my daugther traded off on one sled and I took my 8 year old on the other.

OK the motorhome is loaded with beer and twostroke oil, I think were good to go! Taking off in the morning, anyone rode the trails lately? Hows the grooming looking.

We were there all day. We stopped at USFS in Leavenworth before ride. They updated us on groomer activity. We went to Eagle Creek north of town. There was two groomers parked at bottom. We rode all around the lookout. Lots of rolling ridges. Snow is set up firm. There is still about 4 to 6 inches of soft on top. We pretty much avoided 60 percent of the trails. Got stuck in a few draws. The climbing was endless. It was nice with clear skies. Bring your sun glasses. We would ride it again....... We found two locals today that showed us around. Nice people! Thank you much...

Timbersled Products - Awesome ride on my new suspension, the Mtn Tamer. Well worth the money. Everyone that tried my sled said it was like floating on a cloud. Thanks Allen.

It sucked today. The whoops were like a dirtbike track on the trail and off the trail snow was hard as rock. Dont waste your time. Go to baker

We rode 22nd and the 23rd. Had a great time. The trails were a little bumpy down low but over all they were really nice. Yes it was hard in the AM but softened up in the afternoon. Met s-lillie at the snow park, nice to talk with you and thanks for all the info.
