Fish Lake/Beaver/Richfield

I may be moving from Alaska to Southern Utah. How's the sleddin around Beaver or Richfield? Haven't been able to find any info. Thanks.

Never ridden there in the winter, but been up there in the summer... The terrain looks great!
My bro in law lives up there, he is not much of a sledder, but he says its a popular area.

You hunt? haha i don't know if your aware, but you are moving into the home of the Biggest Elk in the world! As far as riding. the Pahvant Range (out of richfield) has some sweet terrain, never rode it, but elk hunted up there and could imagine it'd be fairly decent riding. Beaver has some SWEET riding. Fishlake? spent alot of time on there elk hunting, i would be SCARRED to venture off trail there. It is a BOULDER field mountain. As far as south of fairview, i would bet Beaver has the best opportunity for riding. snow's not gonna be anything like ak though, unless you make the trips north to the Wasatch and uintah's

freak you need to go riding down there... endless boondocking at high altitude, and you dont have to go anywhere near the peaks if you dont want too! fun fun area!!

Yes i do. Hiked to the top, and signed my name in the little book tribute thing they have up there too:D Like phatty said, endless boondocking in high alpine terrain, its kinda boarderline treeline, so its just rolly hills with sparse pines. And then there are some HUGE peaks, there is also ALOT of the the white vermin
