First West coast rain storm for snow

Californ / Oregon / Washington getting some much needed moisture.

Central California forecasted for rain Friday Saturday Jet stream to shift down and snow to 8000 feet and possibly 2-4 feet at 10,000 feet.

Is it snowing anywhere?

I heard over donner summit rain right now, but chain restrictions WILL be in effect later today/tomarrow!!

Down here in Los Angeles it is hot 60-70's today because of the Hawaiian moisture.,Bad for us but perfect setup for the cold front.
Warm moisture meets cold jet stream.

Can you say California popcorn?

Reading the later forecast and suppose to have a HUGE WINTER STORM in less than 2 weeks !!!
