First Utah Ride = CRASH

My wife and I went riding with a couple friends outside of Park City. We played around for a little while in some fields and meadows. Lots of powder, but also lots of rocks and (apparently) some massive holes.

My wife found a major hole and buried her sled into the other side. She is okay, just some bruises. She went sailing over the handlebars and off the other side.
Sled is f***** I think. Good thing for insurance I guess.

Be careful out there everyone. She was lucky not to be injured.

Glad to hear she came out OK. Sled can be fixed/replaced. Sucks when significant other gets hurt 1st ride of season. Mine broke a wrist last season 1st ride, took all the way to now for her to want to ride again.

dang that sucks! My friends wife did the same thing last year and broke her ribs. she's lucky. All's well as long as you can ride another day!

She had on a helmet -- fortunately. That pic was taken a few minutes after. Another plug for being safe and wearing helmets I guess.

Everyone BEEE CAREFUL. She was only going about 15 mph and then was flying over the handlebars.

The best part, she wanted to keep riding. Unfortantely, the sled was leaking some coolant so we decided we better get back to the trailer. But she is a trooper. Just have to ride the backup Kitty 580 for a couple weeks.

Just waiting on the insurance....should be fun.
