First test of my new Klim Gear

Today was my first outing with my New Valdez parka, and Extreme bibs. It was -31 at 8:30 am at the parking lot of horse creek when we unloaded. It warmed up to a balmy -11 when we got back to the truck at 4:00 p.m. With some underarmour underneath, my Klim gear amazed me. I wasn't hot when I was climbing hills, and I wasn't cold on the long trail ride out. AWESOME! I am going to pick up some Klim Adrenaline boots and I will have the total package.

The adrenaline boots are the ticket! Multiple rides and many many hours doing snow removal in them this year......worth the bucks

Just my 2 Cents!

You'll love the boots. They have a soft bottom though, so make sure you are not kicking snow out of your boards. I practically ruined mine. I use the Klim socks with them and they never sweat but keep me warm. I have the Powercross and Inversion gloves to go with my Valdez and Togotwee bibs. Good stuff, Klim has a really good product. Best part is if/when you rip the gear, they charge $25 to repair it all. If the product fails, they will replace it.

i got a new klim bib/coat/glove combo for christmas this year too, and i LOVE it....the only klim thing i dont use is the boots.....i just waterproof spray cheap snowboard boats...they work and i can tear them up, plus they give more support than the klim ones....

Yeap.... didn't like the price tag much before i bought my jacket... but since it keeps me warm & dry, it's totally worth it. Great stuff, well worth the price.

Yup the Klim is really nice stuff, -8 rode all day warm and dry.....:D

Sure is good stuff I have a seven year old tomahawk jacket that still works like new.
It is my only jacket and I put atleast 2000 miles a season. Yes it does cost more than most other brands but IMO worth every penny.

Got a Valdez for Christmas and I can't wait to try it out.

Im a snowmobile guide. I have tried numerous brands of gear and I will gladly advise anyone to buy Klim. Yea, its expensive but it out lasts anyother brands and it stays dry 100% of the time. It has made my riding so much more enjoyable! Im a believer!

I also have the klim gear and love it. always keeps me warm.I was wondering though.I have 1 problem with my pants Icing up on the bottoms. Does any one else have this problem. I think it's caused by the snow melting of the tunnel of my dragon and sticking and freezing to the bottom of my pants.

I get that too, doesn't cause me any problems because I'm still dry, but yeah... iced up zippers do kinda suck.

Just lose the outer layers. Spring riding I'm usually out in tshirt/tekvest and it's comfortable. Over-the-boot MX pants don't have the insulating inner liner that snow pants have, but still have the abrasion resistance and waterproofiness.

Not to hijack the thread, but I needed a pair of pants to wear while my gortex bibs were getting a new zipper so I bought some Carhart breatheable waterproof pants this fall. I've worn them 3 times, absolutely dry. A little on the cool side, need an extra layer under them, but I love these. Paid $95.00 for them. Has anyone else tried them?

Best

Ive ridden with the same set of Klim gear since 2001 still works awesome. Coat getting a little tight only one little hole in the pants, but the best investment I ever made for sleddin!!

Are you talking about the rain gear stuff that looks kind of like plastic on the outside? I wore some of that stuff once, snow wasn't deep or super wet but I was dry and warm!

Klim gear is worth every penny. Hands down the BEST gear available. I feel like a poster boy for them, but I love my gear.
