First storm of the year! ~sled issues! )-;

Somewhere between too dumb to quit and flat earth
This is the first actual hardcore snow storm we have had all year! And my sled is down! I am going to……obama…rig an extension on my IQR and throw a 136 on so I can go riding tomorrow. I am slso putting on new exhaust valves, skid plat, and Fox Evol X shocks:face-icon-small-sho. Anyone else having sled issues in the midst of an amazing snow storm?

Well my track was getting tore up because i had the limiter strap set low for poping wheelies (showing off), I have a 800 in it, and it helps when i am jumping cornices and whipping.

Anyways, i found a sweet cornice and was trying to pretty much do a 180 in the air. I was only getting maybe about 110-130 so i decided to hit it different and go faster. Anyways, when i hit the lip the track seized up and the sled caught about 5 feet of air and landed on top of me and rolled down the hill.

We ended up just pulling the track backwards and we were able to limp home. I stoll my friends XP and about endo’ed coming off the cornice so I have decided to not come back to it for a while. I just got done pulling a track off of an old XLT we totaled a few weeks ago and i am swapping everything tonight.

Hear is a link to a video of me snapping the track on my 900 last year..... I guess i have bad luck... :confused:

No problems, but I am going out of town and won't be back until Thursday and we are supposed to get a good one tonight and tomorrow. And to top it off, I have to drive in the storm too. Not real happy. :mad:

A SkiDoo would not have broken down like that. Any pics of the whip?

The whip was tiny and not even worth pics. Ontop of that, with the kids i was with, i wouldn’t let them touch my camera.

Next weekends west and i think i am going with the girlfriend so if i do any riding it will be at the airport lol.

In 2 weeks my old man is buying a 09 XP summit X from my friend mike and i will make him get some pics. We will be in cooke and hopefully we will get some fresh snow.

I got the shocks on but didn't get the track swapped. I also broke a CVDS in my 96 chevy truck and that took alot longer to fix then expected.

Bummer...I've seen that before a couple of years ago ( a friend with a Doo btw). Sucks when that happens! Happened for no "apparent" reason.:beer;

That sucks man. Yeah we also just had a nice storm, got about 45 min of riding in, and the motor on my D8 goes, again. 154 miles after the last rebuild. No to happy about this. I'm done with this polaris crap.
