FIRST RIDES on ZBROZ on a Nytro

One word. WOW. By far the best front shocks I have ever rode on. These are the X1 triple rates with adjustable compression dampening. They are in conjunction with stock A arms as ZBROZ is testing their spindle as we speak for release shortly if all goes well. These are a "HIGHLY RECOMMEND" item.

Good stuff, no doubt...much better than Ohlins IMO...

BB...if you'll be staying with the stock arms/spindles...whack those upper balljoints (on top of the spindles) down 2.5mm (remove material from face that touches the upper A-arm)...helps quite a bit...you can see the negative camber in the stock spindles pretty clearly in your photos...FWIW

Thanks MOB, didnt even notice it, I am just staring at those shiny new things all the time on the front end. ;)

Wait a minute, I get on it and the camber collapsed when it is not on wheels. So I might leave it for now.:)

Thanks for those pics - I've got the same shocks on my IQRaw and I've been trying to find a replacement for my MCX MTX. Looks like I'll just stay with those Z-Broz now - looks good.

Aces.

Understand...however when there is a load on them the spindle top travels out and away from the centerline, that's exactly when you need the adjustment...rather than during 'neutral' loading. The adjustment is quite noticeably...and there is no negative effect/tradeoff...FWIW:beer;

blah, those suck... not worth the price.. not much better then my floats...

Let me know when they are in the swapmeet for half price...:p

Honestly, dang sexy shocks and good choice! Do the 2.5 mm shave, it works and helps out the suspension a little. So does having the ulmer a-arm bushings and getting the alignment at just a little toe out.

Looks good. What do you have in the rear to match the front? I hope it is not a timbersled....

Ok, I'll bite....why not the Timbersled in the rear?:confused:

Just seems the suspension theory behind the two systems is different. From what I have seen the timbersled does not have much sag designed into it. While the zbroz shocks do. Seems you would want the front and rear to be matched.

Just some thoughts.. as the Zbroz are top of the line, and while Timbersled is good or really good, there are better matched rear suspensions to the zbroz..

But then again, I run floats in the front and a KMOD in the rear.....
