Took the sleds on one last ride to Gold Creek this past sunday (6-12-11). looking back, my first ride of the season at GC was 11-13-10.
we even had a visit from the FS checking tabs - really?
parking was about 1/2 mile from the swan lake turn off on sunday...and i was getting a little worried considering how high we had to drive to off load - jokingly all of us in the truck figured we'd be able to off load at the tower and play on a 10'x10' patch of snow then load up and go home - LOL.
the "best snow" was over toward margrette. the farther east we went you could tell it was end of season riding with more stumps and what not.
now its off to baker till schribers is closed.
