First Ride Bearpaw Video

I shouldnt ride early season becouse I have no self control and seem to always find a huge rock. This years first ride will cost me an A-arm and a new shock. Did anyone else ride this weekend. We didn't get the Camera out much becouse of some sled problems but here is a glimps.

Ouch, I took a quick trip up by Greenwater and found a couple Fun sidehills but kept finding Rocks under the dust on dirt....


Bear Paw looks almost ready .. If you have 2 sleds ....

Looking better all the time. Looks like it needs some base building up there. This warm front should settle it down but hopefully it doesn't wipe it out.

90% sure we are hitting Bear Paw this Fri, Sat, or Sun. depending on the weather. Can anyone tell me where to turn off the Road o the way to the ski resort? Is there an obvious sign? Any help is much appreciated.

Just a couple miles past Glacier turn left at the sign marked Canyon Creek. Follow it up to the fork in the road stay right and park at the turn out right there. Right Fork to Bear Paw, Left fork to Excelsior.

Have fun Saturday was great, Sunday really heavy snow lots of work to climb. Going over Widowmaker not a good plan until a few more feet fall. Lots of rocks and lakes are not frozen yet..

I was up at Bearpaw yesterday and by Saturday it is going to be deep!!!. We had to rescue a sled that broke down a couple of bowls back. The fuel pump broke on my brothers 900 rmk. Check out the fix it is pretty funny!
