Just got back from my first ride. Just headed up to Fernan to do a tuning road ride. Put 28 miles on. Only about 12"-18" at 5000. Found a nice road with lots of kelly humps to launch the sled on. :D New clutch set up ran good. The true test will come it gets in 3 feet of fresh in a climb.

love my new 509 helmet. Fits awesome and has lots of ventilation. Glad I wore my bavaclava. The 509 polarized lens are the chit. Anyone that has the standard lens should upgrade. Huge improvement in overall visibility and reducing glare. Homeruns all the way around Tom!!
Here's a few from today. XP photoshoot only since I couldn't convince anyone to go with me.

Nice pics, I think I can see your refletion in your polished tunnel. ;:D Who's clutch kit did you try? I've been thinking about a change from stock but there seems to be alot of differences of opinion?

I went with the Rooster Built set up from Winter Brew here on the forums. RPM's were spot on and the backshifting is very quick.

Both for me since I changed to the yellow secondary spring last year. The Rooster Built kit uses the stock secondary spring along with a new primary. Also comes with new ramps, helix and pin weights. Give Paul a call. He will ask the type of riding you do along with your weight, altitude and track length to get you the best set up. I also had to change my gearing to 20/49 for my 163".

I just had my frist ride today with new clutch kit from Winter Brew...I can say i now have a sleds i love!!:D:DI have tryed about everything to get this XP to hold rpm in the deep. I hit a number of hills to day with two plus feet of power, and it held 8100 rpm!! ....if my xp ran like this from the beginning i would never had put NOS on it!!!! I'm not kid'n if this is the way this things going to run i may never fill the bottle again......Im sure there is a number of great clutch kits out there, but Brews kit ROCKS!!!!! Hands down the best 350 bucks I've ever spent!!!!:D:D:D

Hey griz . . throw a two wheel kit on that baby, it made a noticable difference on mine. I cut down my axle and spacer to do mine.
I went out a couple days ago for some road riding, found a good 2' of snow above 5000' even got stuck once just for fun:)
